About Kristen McCook

I've been hearing about the work of Come before Winter since I was a college student, but this is the first opportunity I have had to participate with them in a renewal. As my own family lived and worked with churches across the US, we were often partnering with small congregations. (Maybe you are someone we met along the way?!?! Hello!!) Through the encouragement of my sisters in Christ, many times I discovered new gifts, passions, or joys, or I was comforted by the sharing of a sorrow or a listening ear. I have been blessed time and again by the faithful and wise lives of the women who have walked alongside me through the years. I know how much time, prayer, and support can mean in seasons of difficult labor or loneliness. I am really excited to have the opportunity, now, to encourage and uplift women who give of themselves daily to care for and lead others in the name of Jesus, wherever he has called them to serve. I feel confident of God's good work through this ministry, dedicated to blessing the lives of kingdom workers. 

I am raising money to cover not only my own expenses, but also those of three women who will be able to join the renewal as participants at no cost, through your generous support. Thank you so much for giving!
