About Angelica Martinez - Europe 2026

Eighteen years ago, my husband and I were in the early stages of starting the Hispanic Ministry at The Hills Church. At the time, I was a stay-at-home mom with three little ones—just 1, 5, and 7 years old. Our weekdays were filled with family life, and our weekends were spent planting a new church. I was physically and emotionally drained when I was invited to attend Come before Winter.

As soon as I learned that this ministry exists to renew and support those who serve God, I knew it was exactly what I needed. The love I received there, the kind and encouraging words, the richness of God’s Word, and the quiet time for rest and reflection completely renewed my strength and passion to keep serving in the calling God had given me.

Many people in ministry experience a “winter” season—times of loneliness, financial stress, cultural challenges, or discouragement. Their love for God and others remains strong, but the constant giving can leave them weary. That’s why ministries like Come before Winter are so important—they bring refreshment, encouragement, and renewal to those who pour their lives into others.

I invite you to prayerfully consider partnering with us—through your prayers and financial support—to help us serve and uplift women in ministry around the world. Your generosity makes it possible for others to experience the same renewal that once changed my life.
